Know New Jersey?  How about the counties? Here are some links to sites that contain helpful information about buying or selling a home. I have also included sites that provide information about Verona, The Caldwells, and the Forest Hill section of Newark.

I hope that you enjoy them and find them useful.

** Bergen County- Bergen was one of the four original counties in New Jersey. Its early borders reached into what are now Passaic and Hudson counties. Bergen County today is a 239-square-mile parcel of land in the northeast corner of the state, with a population of over 900,000 people.

** Essex County - The recorded history of Essex County begins in 1666, when 30 Connecticut families headed by Robert Treat arrived to establish a settlement along the banks of the Passaic River in what is now the City of Newark. The following year the settlers purchased the land from the Lenni Lenape Indians for $800.00.

** Passaic County - Passaic County was created from portions of Bergen County and Essex County in 1837.  The Morris Canal ran through northern New Jersey and connected the Delaware River with the Hudson River transporting people and goods throughout the state and through the Passaic County towns of Clifton, Little Falls, Paterson and the Mountain View section of Wayne.
